Standing Orders
Your standing orders are displayed in two sections by Title, Newspapers and Magazines.
Newspapers are displayed in frequency order (Weekly followed by Sundays).
Magazines are displayed by Title in alphabetical order.
- Your current order level (Current Supply Quantity)
- Your Average Sales Quantity (based on an average sale over a maximum of 14 issues, using closed issues only). Click here for a detailed explanation
- Minimum Supply level Allowed (Average Sales Quantity +10%)
- Your Required Supply Quantity (your supply required)
- Maximum Supply Allowed (Average Sales +40%)
Clicking on a Title Name
Each Title Name, when clicked, will open a separate window which will show the following:- Current Supply - Current standing order
- Average Sales - Uses a maximum of the last 14 closed issues
- Cover ID - Cover date of the Title selected
- On Sale Date - Date the Title went on sale/was delivered to you
- Supply - Supply quantity charged to your account for the associated Title's Cover ID
- Unsolds - Number of copies credited to you for the selected Title's Cover ID
- Nett Sale - Supply quantity less unsolds credited to your store
- Unsolds Status - An indicator as to whether unsolds will be accepted for a Title. 'Open' indicates that a Title may still accept unsolds for credit and 'Closed' indicates that a Title may no longer accept unsolds for credit
Changing Your Current Standing Order
There is two key items to consider when changing your standing order level.
We will automatically accept your request for a change to your standing order provided it does not go below the 'Minimum Supply Allowed' and does not exceed the 'Maximum Supply Allowed'.
Order Requests which fall outside the Minimum and Maximum parameters will be forwarded to our customer service department for review. This validation process is designed to verify the stock availability level.

Order changes: submit change
Daily Newspapers - by 10:00am to effect the following day's supply (Friday for Monday)
Sunday Newspapers - by 10:00am Thursday to effect the following Sunday's supply
Magazines - 3 days in advance to 'on-sale day' to effect next issue's supply
Only change supply orders for the Titles required (leave others blank - the regular supply will remain as your standing order). To move from one Title to another you can use the tab key - one press will move you through each of the Titles. Alternatively you can use the scroll bar and click in the desired box.
Note : Pressing the Return Key will submit your order changes to us.
When you have completed all your changes, you may click the Submit Change Request button at the bottom of the page or you may press the Return Key on your keyboard to submit the standing order changes to us.
Discrepancy Reporting
Select the date on which the discrepancy occured by use of the drop-down list (today's date, yesterday's date or the previous day's are only available). Click on the Display Titles button. This will display all the Titles that were delivered to you on the date selected.
(Note : This does not include Special Orders.)
To report a discrepancy enter the Actual Quantity Delivered for the Title. Should you wish to report a non-delivery of a Title you must enter '0' against the relevant Title. When completed click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page or you may press the Return Key on your keyboard.
You will then be issued with a Reference Number. Details of action taken in respect of this claim will be advised on a subsequent invoice under the Reference Number issued.
Daily Delivery Details
This feature allows you to display a list of Titles due for delivery to your store on the date selected from the drop down list of dates (maximum 11 days). The information includes Title, R.R.P. and the Delivered Quantity.
(Note : This does not include any Special Orders.)
We are unable to display the pre-advice delivery docket details for the following day. You can however avail of our e-mail notification of this pre-advice delivery detail, which is issued each evening relating to the following day's due supply (Monday to Sunday) by contacting our customer services department at custservices@newspread.ie who will set you up to recieve the information automatically.
Price Changes
This feature allows you to display euro Recommended Retail Price on Titles which have changed their cover price or have had a barcode change recently. Recommended Retail Cover Prices in euro will only be displayed for Titles delivered to your store.
To use this feature just select the date from the drop-down list. Then click the button Display Prices. The Titles displayed will be from the date you selected up to and including the current date.
The headings are self explanatory - 'R.R.P' indicates the Recommended Retail Price, ie the euro Cover Price at which Titles is recommended to be retailed including the relevant V.A.T. rate.
Title Information
This feature allows you to search for Titles supplied by Newspread and displays some basic information about the Title.
Invoice Viewer
To display an Invoice just click on the Invoice Number which you require. The Invoice will be displayed in a new web page. You may print a plain text version (without the images at the top) by clicking 'View a Printable Version' at the bottom of the new web page.
Recall - Note Viewer
This feature allows you to view your last three Recall Notes. You can print a copy of either Recall Note for submission with your Unsolds by using the print feature in your Web Browser.
Ready Reckoner
This feature shows the conversion of a pre-printed Sterling Cover Priced Title to the euro Recommended Retail Cover Price at various V.A.T. rates.
